Swivel Vacuum Attachment for Grinders

The new "Dust Director" tuck point guard for dust-free tuck pointing with diamond blades is a redesigned vacuum attachment from Metabo. It fits Metabo's 1/2-, 5- and 6-in. angle grinders and accepts 4-, 4 1/2-, 5- and 6-in.-diameter diamond blades. Once attached, the Dust Director swivels as it approaches an inside corner to maintain and continue cutting depth, allowing for hassle-free dust collection and continued normal grinder operation.The Dust Director allows for up to 1 3/16-in. depth of cut. It attaches to a heavy duty vacuum cleaner with a 2-in. port and requires a vacuum with at least 120 cfm and a water lift capacity of 90 in. or more.
